Greg Blythe Named IMT President & CEO
Effective July 10, 2025, the IMT Board of Directors appointed Greg Blythe as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. This decision followed a comprehensive and rigorous selection process led by the Board’s Nominating and Governance Committee.
Greg joined the organization in 1993. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for 17 years and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2021. Throughout his tenure, Greg has been instrumental in strengthening IMT’s financial foundation and expanding its relationships with AM Best, reinsurance partners, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies across IMT’s territory. From 2015 to 2021, he also oversaw IMT Computer Services, now known as Software Services.
Greg brings forward-thinking solutions to financial and capital management, plus a team-oriented mindset. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in accounting. He earned his CPCU credential in 2016.
