AM Best Rating Review for IMT Insurance Companies

(updated April 2026) AM Best affirmed the Financial Strength Rating of A- (Excellent) and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Ratings of "A-" (Excellent) of IMT Insurance Company, Wadena Insurance Company, and Eden Insurance Company (collectively known as IMT Insurance Companies) as of April 23, 2026.

Our positive momentum continues, with AM Best assessing our balance sheet strength as ‘very strong’ and observing operating performance improvements in 2025 and through March 2026. AM Best will continue to monitor our progress in achieving sustained operating performance improvements through strategic business initiatives.

The annual AM Best review for the collective group (known as IMT Insurance Companies) is anticipated to be held again next April.
